Hooooo boy!

Today is Super Tuesday which means that numerous states are having their primary elections. The state in which I live (no, not denial) is one of the last to hold its primary so by the time our polls open, the decision may have already been made for us.

Already, the Republican machinery has geared up to hate Hillary Clinton. I don't have too much of an opinion about this woman. She's not my candidate of choice. But after more than 7 years of the mismanagement that this country has suffered, how bad can she be?

But the Republicans seem hell bent on vilifying any but their chosen candidate. Hell, they're even doing it within their own party. I'd like someone to explain to me why a decorated veteran with a great record of service to this country is a bad choice while a drunk-driving, draft-dodging low-brow moron was such a great choice in 2000 and 2004.

Anyway, I won't say that we can't get worse than Bush... but if we do get worse, this country will hang up a "Going Out of Business" sign before 2012.
